Location
Dexter Gold, Western Australia is located 140km SSE of Laverton, Mt Margaret Mineral Field, ~250km NE of Kalgoorlie & ~800km from Perth.

Strategic location
Sunshine Gold Pty Ltd (Sunshine) is the 100% owner of Dexter Gold Projects (Figure 1), being 2 granted exploration leases and 3rd application pending with a total ground holding of approximately ~620 sq km * (Granted December 2024 valid for 5 years).
Dexter is hosting similar rock types, and favourable geological structures, analogous to the large producing Gold Mines at nearby Tropicana (AngloGold Ashanti NYSE:AU) and Gruyere (Gold Road & Gold Fields SA ASX:GOR). These district discoveries at Tropicana, Gruyere, Central Bore, & Attila total over 17Moz of gold resources.

Exploration opportunity
Approximately 31,600m of shallow aircore drilling (539 holes), discovered supergene/redox gold in both the younger Permian cover sediments and in weathered Archaean basement (granites & syenites) at shallow depths varying from 30m to 70m. Best air-core drilling (AC) intersection was 3m at 7.5g/t gold.
Many AC holes had gold mineralization at the bottom of the hole.
The largest defined gold anomaly is 18km long and up to 5km wide, including identified strong silver anomalies up to 6.79g/t.
Previous exploration concluded that the gold in soil/redox gold anomalies suggests a deep-seated source: syenites and greenstone basement rocks.

Geology model
A model showing Au and As anomalies in the surface authigenic ferruginous pisoliths, and lateritic residuum. Arsenic anomalies were delineated in the vegetation over Smokebush Prospect. Interface (unconformity between saprolite and Permian sequence) Au anomaly over or proximal to the mineralisation is successful in areas where pisoliths are transported.
Distinct similarities to Gruyere which is an Archaean granite-hosted deposit under Permian cover.
These mines were discovered by gold, arsenic & silver anomalies in Permian cover, over the basement rocks, being the Yamarna greenstones & granites (with syenites). Dexter has the same features.
